Sammi was a young person injured in a restraint by a temporary staff member. Sammi did not want to make a complaint but wanted to feel safe and know that this would not happen again. The advocate pursued the issue with manager to ensure the staff member would no longer work at the establishment keeping Sammi and other vulnerable young people safer in future.
